The preview does not save the name or dedication entered into the ceremony. Before live commerce launches, this policy will be updated with the final payment, storage, analytics, retention, and contact details.
Information used in this preview
The current preview processes the name, alias, dedication, and visibility choice you type only inside your browser. Those details are used to produce the simulated certificate on your screen. They are not sent to a Squander Bureau server, stored in a database, or used to create a real registry entry. Closing or refreshing the page clears the preview.
Information a live purchase will require
If commerce is enabled later, the Bureau expects to collect the details needed to fulfill the selected digital artifact, such as a name or alias, dedication, email address, visibility preference, product tier, and fulfillment status. Payment details will be handled by the disclosed payment processor rather than stored directly by this site. The final launch policy will identify the processor and every production data store.
Public and private artifacts
A buyer will choose whether an eligible artifact may appear in the public Registry of Dubious Expenditures. The private option will be the default. The Bureau will not publish a buyer's payment details, email address, or legal name merely because a public artifact was selected. Public display terms and removal procedures must be confirmed before launch.
Advertising, analytics, and cookies
Advertising is disabled for this project. The preview does not intentionally install advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Production analytics, if introduced, will be limited to what is necessary to understand site health and will be disclosed here before use. Cloudflare may process basic network and security information when the production site is deployed through its infrastructure.
Your choices
Do not place sensitive, confidential, hateful, unlawful, or personally identifying information in a dedication. The current showcase does not transmit or retain the ceremony details you enter.
